Smokey National Park

The Smokey National Park has 11 million visitors yearly; double that of any other national park. The 814 square mile park is home to over 1,800 black bear and the world’s largest diversity of salamanders. Hiking and camping in this park is a phenomenal experience. All streams in the park hold excellent wild trout populations and many have little if any pressure from other anglers. Accessing by boat to camp on the several lakeside campsites or hiking in gives you the edge of getting where few fly fishermen can. Combination fishing in the lake and streams brings a diverse bag to any day. Make sure to bring a camera on this adventure.
